The Women's Religious Schools Division of the Office of the Senior Official for Women's Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the evening sessions of the 27th edition of the "Banat al-Aqeedah (Daughters of the Faith)" Camp.
The evening sessions, held in the Sidr Farm Hall, began with a discussion session on the concepts and dimensions of voluntary service, presented by the division head; Mrs. Bushra Al-Kanani, and the head of the Zainabiyat Division; Mrs. Susan Al-Jubouri.
The session addressed the main challenges faced by volunteers while performing their duties, especially in the context of ceremonial service during religious events, such as work pressure, multiple responsibilities, and balancing personal effort with institutional commitment.
The session highlighted the importance of instilling a culture of volunteer work and understanding the nature of the service role within the holy shrine. It witnessed interaction from the attendees, as they were given the opportunity to ask questions and share their real-life experiences, which enriched the discussion and highlighted the urgent need to support and train volunteers to face field challenges.
The evening program included a cultural lecture titled "If the Earth Were Sky," delivered by Mrs. Hawra al-Asadi, who reviewed the impact of social media and modern technology on the younger generations, highlighting methods for conscious use of these platforms and ways to avoid their educational and social risks.
The lecture presented a set of educational interventions that received positive feedback from the participants, demonstrating the camp's commitment to providing diverse knowledge content that addresses contemporary youth issues and meets their intellectual and behavioral needs.
The camp is part of a series of programs organized by the Al-Kafeel Religious Schools Division for Girls, aimed at promoting religious values and building the character of girls based on awareness, knowledge, and the spirit of service.
