Al-Wafi Foundation explains its documentation mechanism for modern Iraqi history

The Wafi Foundation for Documentation and Studies at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has demonstrated its documentation mechanism for modern Iraqi history.

The Deputy Head of the Foundation, Mr. Badr Fayyad Al-Ali, stated that the foundation specializes in documenting and recording the stages and events of modern Iraqi history, from the establishment of the Iraqi state after the 1920 Revolution to the present time.

He added that the institution's work proceeds in three stages: gathering information, then editing and proofreading, and finally concluding with typesetting, design, and editing.

He continued that the production plan for documentary works at the institution is based on the existence of several centers: the Information Support Center, the Monitoring and Analysis Center, which is responsible for the collection process, the Documentation Center, the Studies Center, which specializes in editing and proofreading, and the Technical Support Center, which is responsible for showcasing the institution's achievements through printing, photography, design, editing, and conducting interviews.

The Al-Wafi Foundation is dedicated to documenting the history of the Iraqi state in all its intellectual, cultural, economic, political, and social aspects.
