A specialized medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital has successfully performed a delicate surgery on an elderly woman suffering from a brain tumor.

The specialist of Neurosurgery, French Professor Michel Longon, said: a 71-year-old patient, who came to us with a brain tumor in the occipital region, was discovered due to vision problems and head pain.

He added that the operation required high accuracy and extensive experience, through which the brain tumor was completely excised while paying attention to avoid any damage to the surrounding healthy tissues.

Longon added that the operation used advanced surgical techniques to ensure its success and maintain the patient's safety, indicating that it was crowned with success, and that all medical tests after it indicated that the patient is in a good and stable condition.
