Al-Kafeel company for public investments starts harvesting wheat crop at Al-Saqi farms

Al-Kafeel Company for Public Investments, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has started harvesting the wheat crop for the current season at the Al-Saqi farms affiliated with the holy shrine.

Ali Maz'al, assistant director of the company, said:"Our engineering staff has started harvesting the wheat crop at Al-Saqi farms today, within the agricultural season 2024/2025, under the supervision of the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine.

"The harvesting work for today included more than three sprinklers planted with local wheat, which includes diverse varieties of wheat,"he added.

"The crops were marketed to the Karbala Silo, with some seeds being stored after being purified, filtered and sterilized in the grain and seed purification Laboratory of the holy shrine for the purpose of planting them in the next season,"he added.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen on developing the agricultural sector, reclaiming desert lands, increasing production and employing manpower through its pioneering projects in this field.
