Planning and Human Development Department holds a training courses program for the employees of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine..

Planning and Human Development Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has set up in collaboration with the National Centre for Management development and Information Technology, one of the centres of the Iraqi Ministry of Planning a course in the design of training programs for the employees of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. This course which lasted for three days came within the contract signed between the holy shrine and the mentioned centre to establish workshops in this field in order to develop the competences.
And to find out more details on this subject Al-Kafeel Network met with Mr. ali Al-Sa'idi, senior director at the National Centre and the supervisor of this session, who explained the following: "This training is a essential part of the management process, especially when the training is based on specific foundations focused on the job and not on the employee. It is also important to focus on the skills of the trainees during these training programs creating a sort of homogeneity among the trainees using common tasks within their duties, as well as the interaction of the trainees, their discussion and sharing their expertise in the training class leading to the enrichment of the training process, because the training depends on the participation and the interaction between the trainer and the trainees through the games and activities created from the reality of the actual work and the previous experiences of the trainees in the area of their specialization."
Adding: "There were 16 trainees who have participated in this workshop, which will enable them to develop or design training programs in the future in a high level of quality according to the approved international standards in training centers and institutions. This training process includes four successive stages, the first phase is the study and the identification of the training needs in order to design the suitable training program, the second phase is to analyze the training needs for the purposes of the design and the assembly of the training program content, the third phase is the preparation of methods and training activities that are placed in the training package, and finally the fourth phase, which includes the training evaluation."
Mr. Al-Sa'idi concluded: "The training includes activities limited in terms of time and content, and the participants vary according to their functional level. As there is two types of training programs in terms of design: The general programs (programs during the service) aiming at training the skills in a specific functional level for members from different bodies, while the second type is of specific programs aiming at training the individual skills from administrative side in order to increase the possibility of applying the learned skills in the work environment, where the training objectives are linked to the goals of the work body and its employees."
