The supervisor of civil works, Engineer Zaid Hamid, said: "The Al-Zaki Super Speciality Hospital in Babylon Governorate is witnessing advanced work progress, with the project completion rate reaching 72%, and it is being executed over an area estimated at 16,250 square meters." He pointed out that "the project is being carried out entirely by Iraqi hands and has been classified among the best hospitals in the Middle East."
He added that "the hospital contains eight operating rooms, a room for cardiac catheterization procedures, in addition to a central room and laboratory for fertilization procedures, and emergency wards for men and women, as well as fully equipped consultation clinics, accommodating 230 beds. The attached building will serve as housing for nurses and other services."
Hamid mentioned that "the hospital aims to provide advanced medical services that match global standards, by offering modern devices from reputable sources and precise tests that spare citizens the hassle of traveling abroad."
This project is part of the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to develop the healthcare sector and provide advanced medical services to citizens in various provinces.
