This came during a visit by the delegation of the General Directorate of Industrial Development affiliated with the ministry to the holy shrine, and its tour to inspect the factory.
The director general of the directorate, Dr. Ali Ibrahim, said: "The delegation was briefed on the details of the Al-Joud IV solution factory, the staff present in it, in addition to its high-quality products," noting that it "includes advanced and modern technology, and has active contracts with the Ministry of Health and local factories."
He added, "We are working through specialized committees to localize important industries in Iraq, especially the pharmaceutical ones, to provide hard currency and create a suitable environment for medical competencies." Confirming that "the support provided by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in this sector will directly reflect on the development of the medical industries within the country."
For his part, the general supervisor of the factory, Engineer Haidar Shakir, said: "A delegation from the General Directorate of Industrial Development conducted a field tour of the Al-Joud factory to inspect its facilities and the production lines of intravenous solutions."
He added that "the factory contributes to supporting government projects to localize the pharmaceutical industry in Iraq, as we strive for the factory to be a model to be emulated in this important sector."
