The delegation of the Arab States Broadcasting Union commends the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in serving the visitors and managing the million-visitor events

The delegation of the Arab States Broadcasting Union praised the efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in serving the visitors and managing the million-visitor pilgrimages.

This came during the reception of a delegation by the head of the Media Department at the Holy Shrine, Mr. Ali al-Badri, which included several directors of satellite channels and radio stations participating in the Arab Media Conference, organized by the Iraqi Media Network in the capital, Baghdad.

The director of the Arab Center for News and Program Exchange in Algeria, Mr. Mohsen Karim Slimani, said that "the delegation expressed its admiration for the organization within the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and its efforts in serving visitors and managing the crowds coming from inside and outside Iraq," noting that "the visit to the city of Karbala left a positive impression about the deep faith of Iraqis in their sanctities."

He added that "Iraq is experiencing an economic renaissance in terms of construction and developmental projects, and this reflects the true image of the country, which is completely different from the one that was previously envisioned."

The Media Department of the holy shrine presented the delegation with a presentation about the city of Karbala, its culture, and its community, as well as the events of Ashura, in addition to the role of the Karbala community in the million-visitor pilgrimages, along with the services provided by the lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) during those Ziyarats.
