The Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine recalls the biography of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him)

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine recalled the biography of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him) through a condolence Council in commemoration of his martyrdom anniversary.

The council, organized by the Public Speaking of the Husseini Preaching Division at the holy shrine, began with the reading of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious lecture delivered by the preacher; Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Abadi.

The council is held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and lasts for three days, and is organized in the morning and evening.

In his lecture, Al-Abadi touched upon the biography of Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), reviewing his noble life and the injustice he suffered from the Abbasid state, indicating his constant interaction with his society and meeting the needs of people.

Sheikh al-Abadi pointed out that Imam Mohammad al-Jawad (peace be upon him), despite the short duration of his life, which did not exceed twenty-five years, managed to leave a rich and multi-field scientific and intellectual legacy, defying the difficult circumstances that surrounded him and his Shia.

The council concluded with the reading of poems and lamentations recalling the misfortune of the martyrdom anniversary of the imam (peace be upon him), amid an atmosphere of sadness and sorrow that overwhelmed those present.

The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to revive the occasions of the holy imams (peace be upon them); in order to take lessons and sermons from their blessed biographies.
