Funeral procession for the martyrdom anniversary of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) at the Holy Shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Funeral procession at the holy shrine of Imam Al-H
To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the sixth moon of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Imam Jaafar Ibn Mohammad As-Sadeq (peace be upon both of them), with saddened hearts and eyes filled with tears, as a consolation to the House of Prophecy and inspired from the narration of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) who said: "And then, revive our matter. May Allah have mercy on him who revives our matter.", On the afternoon of the 25th Shawwal, 1436 AH corresponding to the 11th of August, 2015, the funeral procession of the servants of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine led by its General-Secretary was launched from the holy shrine of Aba Al-Fadl (peace be upon him) chanting funeral phrases, and heading towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to present the condolences for the martyrdom of his grandson Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him), recalling this sad anniversary that befell on the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in such days.
To be received with phrases of grief and sorrow by the servants of the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), a funeral majliss was then held at the holy shrine with some elegies about the biography and life of Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
Noting that the Al-Abbas (p) holy shrine was covered with black for the occasion to express the grief and had prepared a funeral program that included a funeral majliss in the guesthouse to revive this sad occasion. It has also raised black banners in which were inscribed some sayings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) about Imam As-Sadeq (peace be upon him). The two holy shrines have also received the funeral procession since the early morning hours to commemorate this tragic anniversary and all their services departments were ready to receive the mourners coming from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala.
