The crowds of believers commemorated the rituals of the Day of Arafah at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Karbala.

The area between the two holy shrines and the surrounding regions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine witnessed a significant crowd of visitors who came from inside and outside Iraq to perform the rituals, prayers, and supplications.

This annual pilgrimage takes place on the ninth of Dhu al-Hijjah, as believers head to Karbala to commemorate this blessed day at the two holy shrines.
