The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches the third International Imamate Week events

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the third edition of the International Imamate Week.

The holy shrine is holding the week under the slogan (Prophethood and Imamate are inseparable), titled (The Imams' Advice is Guidance and Piety), coinciding with the blessed Eid al-Ghadir, with wide participation from Arab, Islamic, and foreign countries.

The inauguration events were attended by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, its Secretary-General Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, members of its Board of Directors, department heads, as well as religious, official, and academic figures from inside and outside Iraq.

The opening activities began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Haidar Al-Bazouni, followed by a speech by His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, and a documentary film showcasing aspects of previous editions of the week.

The activities of the third edition of the week include several research sessions discussing scientific studies on various topics related to the thoughts of the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), by researchers from inside and outside Iraq, in both Arabic and English.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine seeks, through the Week of Imamate, to shed light on various aspects of the sciences of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to demonstrate the importance of their thought and approach in addressing the crises of the contemporary world.
