The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the week under the slogan (Prophethood and Imamate are inseparable), titled (The Imams' Advice is Guidance and Piety), coinciding with the glorious Eid al-Ghadir, with wide participation from Arab, Islamic, and foreign countries.
The ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its Secretary-General Sayed Mustafa Murtada Aal Dia-Uddin, his deputy Sayed Abbas Musa, a number of board members and officials, in addition to official, religious, seminary, researcher, and academic figures from inside and outside Iraq.
The closing ceremony included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Laith Al-Abbadi, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs' souls, and the unveiling of the book "Jawab Risalat Al-Akhawain" by the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, along with a narrative film about it.
The ceremony witnessed the reading of the final statement and recommendations for the third edition of the week, delivered by committee member Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah Al-Mousawi, alongside a speech by the participating delegations delivered by His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Al-Amili. The events included a film screening (Ayatullah), which covered the names of the bearers of the message and the guardians of the religion after the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). The ceremony concluded with a classical Arabic poem recited by the poet Ali Al-Saffar.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine seeks, through the Week of Imamate, to highlight various aspects of the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to demonstrate the importance of their thought and approach in addressing the crises of the contemporary world.
