The maintenance department begins shading the streets leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with saran fabric

The maintenance and engineering construction teams at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have started shading the streets leading to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with saran fabric.

The head of the department, Engineer Qassem Hadi, said: "Under the guidance of the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, the maintenance and engineering construction teams have begun installing Saran fabric to shade the streets leading to the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), coinciding with the rise in temperatures."

He added, "This step is part of a series of service measures implemented by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in preparation for the pilgrimage seasons, aiming to provide a more comfortable atmosphere for the visitors and to reduce the effects of the summer heat."

Hadi pointed out that "so far, more than 10,000 square meters have been shaded, and work continues to cover wider areas within the old city."

This project is part of the continuous efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to enhance the level of services provided to the visitors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), especially during peak times and million-visitor occasions.
