The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honours the participants of the second scientific conference on the Fatwa of Jihad al-Kifai

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honoured the participants of the second scientific conference on the Fatwa of Sacred Defence.

The conference was held under the auspices of the Holy Shrine and organised by the Al-Abbas's (p) Combat Division in cooperation with the National Defence College, aiming to establish the scientific dimension of the fatwa and to provide a methodological vision to fortify the nation against intellectual and security challenges.

The researchers were honoured in turn by: the head of the scientific committee of the conference and member of the board of directors of the holy shrine, Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah Al-Mousawi; the deputy secretary-general of the holy shrine, Mr. Maytham Al-Zaydi; and the head of the preparatory committee of the conference, Major General Dr. Ali Hindol Al-Shammari.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen on documenting this phase of Iraq's history through intellectual and cultural initiatives, including holding scientific conferences and supporting academic research, with the aim of preserving national memory and instilling the values that emerged from the fatwa.
