About 10.000 students have graduated from the summer Quran classes held by the Institute of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine

In conjunction with the birth anniversary of the eighth of our saint Imams; Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him), the Institute of the Holy Quran of the Department of knowledge and Islamic and humanitarian affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held on Wednesday 9th of Dhi Al-Qi'dah 1436 AH corresponding to the 26th of August, 2015 a graduation ceremony for almost 10.000 students after the end of the summer Quranic courses for the year (1436 AH/ 2015).
The graduation ceremony was held at the courtyard between the two holy shrines, with the presence of 5000 graduating students, their teachers and a number of personalities interested in Quranic affairs. The ceremony began with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by one of the students of this session, the reader Baqer Ahmed Sahar, then all the attendance stood up to read Al-Fatiha in memory of the heroes of the martyrs of the popular mobilization.
Then Sheikh Ali Muhan delivered the word of the General-Secretary of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in which he says: "This scene in which is gathered such number of students, is a scene of the Almighty's satisfaction, and brings happiness to the heart of the Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) and his Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)."
He added: "The establishment of this session has a number of objectives:
First: We would like to send a message through this assembly to the followers of Satan and to all those who are claiming falsely that they are religious and muslims, and who accused the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) that they left the Holy Quran and resorted only to supplications. So, being all together here today emphasizes that we are the people of both the Holy Quran and the supplications.
Second: Giving the interest to this age group and putting them on the right path, especially that they are in the beginning of their life, and it is important to pave their entry to a good religious life to secure them from the wolves' teeth that want to mislead them by hatred to the Islamic nation.
Third: In this current phase, in which we are going through many crises, we are commanded to be prepared for the coming days."
Stressing: "InshaAllah, This will not be the last event that we organise for the quranic education of the society, There will be more of them in the future."
Then, the director of the Institute of the Holy Quran; Sheikh Jawad Al-Nasrawi also stated: "There is almost 10000 students who have graduated from this course, as they were taught lessons in the memorization of the Holy Quran, jurisprudence rules, dogmas and morals."
Noting: "The students graduated from the province of Karbala and the branches of the Institute of the Holy Quran in the rest of provinces, which are: Branch of Baghdad province (the city of people), branch of Baghdad (city of Freedom), branch of the province of Babylon, and branch of Wasit province."
Explaining: "Great efforts were harnessed for the graduation this number of students, and we present all the thanks and the praise for these efforts and for all those who contributed to the success of this project."
Then, a number of the students graduating from the project "Prince of Readers" held by the Institute of the Holy Quran, presented a unified recitation of the Holy Quran. The ceremony was concluded with the presentation of a piece of theater about the importance of the Holy Quran in guising the Islamic nation to the path of the right and truth.
