The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine spreads banners of mourning in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have hung mourning banners in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in preparation for the arrival of the holy month of Muharram.

The assistant head of the Holy Shrine's Courtyard Care Department; Sayed Zain Al-Abidin Al-Quraishi, said: "The department's staff have begun the first phase of draping the holy courtyard and the entrances of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in black, as part of the pre-prepared plan for the ceremony of changing the flag of the dome of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the Ziyarat of the tenth of Muharram."

He added that "the subsequent stages will include adorning the remaining entrances and streets leading to the holy shrine, in addition to completing the works related to commemorating this sorrowful occasion."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared a comprehensive plan that includes the display of mourning symbols at the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in preparation for the month of Muharram, 1447 AH.
