Engineer Raed Abdul Imam, a member of the Al-Kafeel Centre for Artistic Production and Live Broadcasting, stated: "The live broadcasting system operates 24 hours a day throughout the year, providing its services for free to all satellite channels, news agencies, and digital platforms, through a special frequency and clean feed links free of logos, to facilitate the professional and direct use of content."
He added that more than 87 satellite channels from various countries around the world benefit from the system's services, in addition to dozens of news agencies and social media platforms. He pointed out that the plan for the months of Muharram and Safar includes extensive coverage of all religious events, Hussaini councils, and mourning processions.
Abdul Imam explained that the plan starts with the live broadcast of the mourning flag replacement ceremonies at the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas. This will be followed by broadcasting the mourning councils held in the holy courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the reception hall, in addition to covering the mourning processions and devotional practices inside and outside the holy shrine. Special episodes and documentary programs prepared by the Al-Kafeel Centre will also be produced and broadcasted, documenting the spiritual atmosphere and the Hussaini rituals.
The system will broadcast the ceremonies of the 10th of Muharram and the Twayreej Run live, and document the procession of visitors commemorating Arbaeen from the far south of Iraq to Karbala, using mobile satellite news gathering (SNG) vehicles.
This effort is part of the comprehensive media plan implemented by the Media Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, aimed at conveying the atmosphere of the pilgrimage in the Holy Karbala to the entire world and documenting the events of the mourning season with the highest technical and professional standards.
