The Scientific Complex continues to hold its mourning council in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) in Najaf Ashraf

The Scientific Quranic Complex at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to hold the annual mourning council to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), his family, and his companions in Najaf Ashraf.

The council organises the Holy Quran Institute in Najaf Ashraf, affiliated with the complex, in the presence of a group of students and members.

The council began with a blessed recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, by the student Hafiz Muhammad Reda Jaber, followed by a eulogy poem recited by the student Hafiz Muhammad Diyaa.

The session concluded with a lecture delivered by Sheikh Muhammad Amin, in which he reviewed the biography of Imam al-Hussayn's (peace be upon him) companions and their heroic stances in defending the truth and supporting the faith.

This council is part of a series of religious and cultural events organised by the institute with the arrival of the month of Muharram, commemorating the tragedy of Ashura and instilling the values of al-Hussayn in the hearts of the students.
