The procession of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provided its services to the visitors of the city of Samarra as part of the Kafeel campaign to commemorate Ashura at the shrine of the two Imams (peace be upon them).

The head of the holy shrine's delegation to Samarra, Mr. Khalil Mahdi Hanoun, said that the holy shrine organised the "Al-Kafeel Campaign" to transport large crowds of visitors from Karbala and other provinces to the city of Samarra to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn, his family (peace be upon them), and his companions at the shrine of the Imam al-Hadi and Imam al-Askari (peace be upon them).

He added that the procession of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provided services to more than 15,000 visitors, including main and intermediate meals, the distribution of 6,000 water boxes, and 2,200 ice blocks. The procession also held the ceremony of reciting the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn, his family, and his supporters (peace be upon them).

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has been reviving religious occasions in the city of Samarra through its procession, which provides various services to the visitors.
