The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him) by holding a mourning council.
The Council of the Public Speaking Division of Hussayni Preaching, affiliated with the Holy Shrine, holds a council in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sajjad (peace be upon him). It lasts for ten days, with morning and evening sessions, attended by several of its officials and servants, alongside a group of mourning visitors.
Sheikh Fadel Al-Haidari delivered a lecture in the council, reviewing the biography of Imam Ali son Al-Hussayn; as-Sajjad (peace be upon them) and his honorable stances, including the burial of the pure bodies of Imam al-Hussayn, his family (peace be upon them), and his companions after the tragic event of Ashura, his sacrifices in supporting the truth, and his adherence to his original principles.
The council concluded with the recitation of elegies and poems that embodied the feelings of sorrow and the painful tragedy of Ashura, with the participation of Mulla Khalid Al-Karbalaei.
