The Service Affairs Department continues to provide ice and chilled water for the processions and visitors

The Service Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to provide ice and chilled water to the Hussaini processions and the visitors arriving in the holy city of Karbala.

The head of the Water Supply Division, Mr. Youssef Ahmed Alwan, said: "The division's staff continue their daily tasks to provide both types of ice (block and crystal), as well as chilled water to the service processions near the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as well as to the visitors arriving at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)."

He added that "the distribution of chilled water and ice covers several areas, including the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the street leading to the holy shrine, the Bab Baghdad area, the outer perimeter, and all the surrounding areas of the holy shrine."

Alwan added that "the department is intensifying its activities during these days when the holy city of Karbala witnesses an increase in the number of visitors, coinciding with the approach of the massive Arbaeen pilgrimage, producing doubled quantities of chilled water and ice to meet the needs of the processions and visitors."
