The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has included Al-Kafeel University in its list of strategic partners in the fields of artificial intelligence, sustainable development, and quality education.
This inclusion comes as a result of the scientific and administrative efforts made by the university to enhance its international presence and keep pace with global developments in the education sector. The university president, Dr. Nawras Mohammed Al-Dahan, and the dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ali Jassim Al-Amiri, have been appointed as official representatives of the university in the training programs and international meetings organized under the supervision of the UNESCO Regional Office funded by the Government of Japan.
Dr. Al-Dahan expressed his pride in this achievement, affirming that Al-Kafeel University joining the UNESCO Partners Network reflects its commitment to improving the quality of education, enhancing scientific research, and actively contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
The university has officially registered in the international partnership of the "Greening Education Partnership," one of UNESCO's prominent programs aimed at supporting climate adaptation and enhancing environmental response in academic institutions.
