The administration of Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital clarified its role in supporting the medical plan for the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The director of the oncology center at the hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ibrahimi, said: "The hospital plays a significant role in supporting and implementing the medical plan for the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to serve the visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Karbala Health Directorate."
He added that "Al-Kafeel Hospital is distinguished by its strategic location near the routes taken by visitors, allowing it to provide direct support to the surrounding field medical units and centers. The Karbala Health Department and the Ministry of Health rely on it as a support center in case of congestion or a health emergency in the government hospitals during the Arbaeen pilgrimage."
He explained, "The hospital provides many medical and logistical supplies and assistance to the detachments that offer services to the Arbaeen visitors, in addition to the participation of some of its staff in fieldwork to support those detachments."
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is keen to provide various services, including health and first aid, to visitors coming from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
