The Media Department of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has launched a new portal for illustrated stories on its official website, "Al-Kafeel Global Network," in a step aimed at employing the arts of visual storytelling to serve the Hussaini cause and highlighting the humanitarian scenes accompanying the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The head of the department, Mr. Ali Al-Badri, stated that the department has launched a new portal for illustrated stories on the official website of the shrine, "Al-Kafeel Global Network," with the aim of employing visual storytelling arts in the service of the Hussaini cause and highlighting the human scenes accompanying the blessed Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
He added that this step comes as part of the department's efforts to diversify documentation and media transmission tools, and to provide visual content that resonates with the audience's emotions and touches their hearts, by capturing shining examples of the visitors' and servants' interactions, which traditional cameras might not record, but are documented in a deeply impactful and lasting visual language.
He explained that the image is considered a universal language that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, making it an effective means of conveying the Hussaini message to a diverse audience around the world.
Al-Badri pointed out that the permanent allocation of this portal on the official website was a result of the wide reception achieved by this media and artistic material, which is produced through joint cooperation between the media department staff and specialized volunteers, making it a reference relied upon by many websites and platforms interested in Hussaini affairs.
