Al-Kufa Great Masjid declares mourning and receives the mourners on the martyrdom anniversary of Muslim bin 'Aqeel (peace be upon him)..

Al-Kufa Great Masjid declared mourning to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the ambassador Muslim bin 'Aqeel and the companion Hani ibn 'Urwa (peace be upon both of them) on the 8th of Dhu Al-Hijjah. The condolence program included many activities such as the annual condolence Majlis, which started by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran, then Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Al-Nussayrawi presented a lecture about the biography of Muslim bin 'aqeel (peace be upon him, his sacrifices on the right path drawn by the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) and his defence to the plan of the Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), calling the believers to take him as an example as he was not defeated in front of the enemies despite he was alone, then the Sheikh spoke about his martyrdom and the martyrdom of his supporter Hani Ibn 'Urwa (may allah be pleased with him) by the oppressors of Banu Umayya, the enemies of Islam and humanity.
The Majlis was concluded by a prayer to the believers and those stationed in the battlefields in defense of the land and honour, and asking mercy and forgiveness to the martyrs and the speedy recovery for the wounded. The secretary of Al-Kufa great masjid, the attached sanctuaries and their staff have mobilised their efforts to provide the best services to the visitors and to maintain their security, safety and the regulation of their movement, in addition to the distribution of meals and drinking water. The condolence processions are flocking from various provinces of Iraq to visit the holy sanctuary of the martyr.
On the other hand, Al-Kufa great masjid received thousands of mourners who flocked from inside and outside the country to commemorate this sad anniversary, and the service procession were deployed on all the roads leading to the masjid to provide various services to the visitors such as food, drink and other.
Al-Kufa great masjid and its attached sanctuaries have mobilized all their capacities to receive the condolence processions on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him and the ambassador of Al-Hussayn; Muslim bin 'Aqeel (peace be upon both of them), and the secretary has prepared all the conditions for these procession to enable them to perform their rituals, which was preceded by a complete coordination with security agencies in the province of Najaf and the holy city of Al-Kufa, in order to facilitate the entry of these processions to the province after that the Unit of Hussayni rituals have issued identifying cards to them for a safer atmosphere. Resting places have been allocated to them as well as meals and special Minbars within the pavillions of the Masjid and inside the sanctuary of Muslim bin 'Aqeel (peace be upon him) for obituary Majlis.
