Service Affairs Department: Providing 25 tons of bags designated for waste collection in preparation for the Arbaeen pilgrimage

The Service Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the provision of approximately 25 tons of bags designated for waste collection in the areas surrounding the holy shrine.

The administrative assistant to the head of the department, Engineer Abbas Ali Abu Al-Awf, said that "the department has carried out a series of service works and worked on providing cleaning supplies and water storage to serve the visitors of Arbaeen. It prepared about 25 tons of bags designated for collecting waste in the areas near the holy shrine, in addition to preparing another 10 tons designated for ice storage before distributing it to the service processions and visitors."

He added that "the work also included cleaning the toilet facilities and equipping them with water tanks with a capacity of 10,000 liters, to be used in case of interruption of the drinking water supply, in addition to providing necessary cleaning materials such as liquid and solid soap, with the aim of ensuring a safe and healthy environment for visitors."

The departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are mobilizing their efforts to provide the best services to the visitors coming to the city of Karbala from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate the Arbaeen pilgrimage at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
