The Department of the Care of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a ceremony for the celebration of the anniversary of Eid Al-Ghadeer..

To celebrate the anniversary of the greatest Eid of Allah, Eid Al-Ghadeer, the Department of the care at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a joyous ceremony on this great occasion on Friday 18th Dhu Al-Hijjah 1436 AH corresponding to the 2nd October, 2015.
The ceremony was held in the holy shrine of Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and it began by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran by the reader Sayed. Hassanein Al-Helo, followed by a religious lecture delivered by Sayed. Adnan Gelokhan from the Department of religious affairs at the holy shrine, in which he congratulate the attendance of this auspicious occasion, praying the Almighty to make us hold fast on the Wilaya of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
This lecture undertook the greatness of this auspicious occasion and its actual impact on the march of the Islamic religion, in regard to the reasons of the choice of that valley by the Holy Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) to deliver the historical sermon and the divine nomination of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) as "Wali", Commander of the Faithful and the successor of the Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household), as that special point was a crossroads for all the pilgrims who are going to their home countries.
The lecturer has explained also the religious dimension of this divine mandate of the Prophet (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household) by the revelation of this verse: {O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.} (5:67) as the nomination of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) is to complement the heavenly message, so he (peace be upon him) continues the march of the Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household).
The ceremony continued by the recitation of poems of a group of poets and radood, first by the poet Sayed Said Al-Safi who delivered a poem about the occasion, then cane the turn of the Hussayni radood Thamer Al-'Aredhi, followed by the poet Abi Ahmed Al-Miyahi and then the poet Mohammad Al-A'ajibi and Radood Hussayn Al-'Ekeyli and the gifted child Mahdi Al-Mankushi concluded the ceremony by th recitation of a poem about Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
It is to mention that the Department of care of the holy shrine, is accustomed to organize such celebrations every year on the occasion of the nomination and the coronation of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) guardian and successor of the Great Messenger of Allah (prayers and Allah's peace be upon him and his holy Household). The ceremony was attended by some of the officials of the holy shrine, heads of its departments and a large crowd of the visitors of the Shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
