By implementing Al-Kafeel Hospital according to sophisticated global characteristics, we have opened the door wide to the international and Iraqi expatriates to return to their homeland to offer their expertise in the service of our country and to give the citizens the opportunity of treatment within Iraq instead of the fatigue of travel and alienation in other countries.
This was a part of the word delivered by the Engineer Dhafer Al-Baldawi the representative of the executing company of the project of Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Al-Baldawi Group General Trading and Contracting during the opening ceremony of the hospital, in which he also stated: "since the first moment of the construction of this hospital, our will and determination were strong to bring the best global companies specialized in this field and the alignment with the Iraqi staff to give them their distinct experience, and in spite of the difficult security and financial conditions that we encountered we continued the work having the trust in the Almighty God and under the auspices of the Master Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the support of those in charge at the holy shrine as well as all the brothers in its Department of Engineering Projects, in addition to the Shiite Endowment, the Advisory Office of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, Archimedes the Indian company designing the project and all the supporting foreign companies."
Adding: "Our country was the land of the first civilizations in the world, enacted laws and taught humanity alphabet, and it is a country that deserves confidence and its staff are able to compete with developed countries in the establishment of modern hospitals and specialized projects."
Mr. Al-Baldawi continued: "It has been taken into account of the structures' designs, the high durability of the structure to be resistant to earthquakes and shocks to permit the hospital to provide its services in the most difficult circumstances, in addition to taking into account the the special nature of the holy city of Karbala, concerning numbers of the millions of visitors who flock to Karbala for the Ziyarat. So, our efforts and the efforts of the brothers in the Engineering Projects Department at the holy shrine and the designing company focused on providing the hospital by the latest operating rooms, diagnostic and therapeutic equipments to be similar to those in the developed countries along with the latest services and information systems."
Explaining: "We have thus opened the door wide to the international and Iraqi expatriates to return to their homeland to offer their expertise in the service of our country and to give the citizens the opportunity of treatment within Iraq instead of the fatigue of travel and alienation in other countries. And we have been insisting on bringing foreign companies specialized in the operating rooms and introducing robotics technology (Android) as well as the recovery equipment that enters the country for the first time in our country, in addition to the services systems, medical diagnostic devices and the system of electronic self-running of buildings (BMS) that enters the country for the first time in the field of hospitals, which are running all services systems in the hospital to ensure the best implementation, saving energy and reducing manpower, and the technology of exchange of information in the research and academic centers, making it a great addition to providing the best characteristics by the continuous cooperation with our Iraqi engineering and technical staff, which made great efforts to achieve this goal."
Mr. Al-Baldawi concluded his word saying: "We hope that we have put our feet proud and steadfast on the beginning of the road towards the global expertise in the field of specialized projects and we will be in the service of our country and our institutions when we are responsible of any project, God willing."
