The head of the Department of Engineering Projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine: Al-Kafeel Hospital includes more than 50 systems and 1000 devices at a cost of 35 % of the work value in similar hospitals..

Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine that were recently opened, includes more than 50 sophisticated service systems and more than 1000 developed medical devices for all the specialities and tests and from international companies that has long experience in this field. This, according to the head of the engineering projects department at the holy shrine, engineer Dea' Majeed Al-Sa'igh during the opening ceremony of the hospital, and he also stated: "Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital was built on an area of 5000 m2 from a total area of 10000 m2, the remaining 5000m2 was allocated to other services. The hospital is located in Al-Bahadliyah area adjacent to the cemetry of the old valley [wadi qadeem], and it consists of six floors (under ground, basement, ground floor, and four top storeys) that formed the entire main building of the hospital by 200 beds. And it included departments and various services deployed on these floors as follow: the under ground and the basement includes: unit of the atomic medicine, consultation, pharmacy, sterilization, the administration, the kitch and other services. The ground floor includes the unit of emergency, the main entrance, radiology, Scannar, resonance and the cafeteria."
Adding: "The first floor includes the patients rooms, the Intensive care of internal medicine, neurology and others. The second floor is allocated to the operating rooms, the department of infertility and rooms for patients. The third floor consists of rooms for open-heart catheter operations, intensive care, recovery, center of vision correction and other services. while the fourth floor it is dedicated to dental department, laboratories and patients rooms. the external buildings consists of the infrastructure of the hospital in terms of electric systems, power generators, oxygen and processing systems, in addition to an integrated building of five floors devoted to housing the doctors, nurses and a large part of it is a center of stem cells attached to the hospital. Al-Kafeel Hospital includes more than 50 sophisticated service systems and more than 1000 developed medical devices for all the specialities and tests and from international companies that has long experience in this field. It was accomplished in a record time of one year of work at a cost of 35 % of the value of similar work in similar hospitals."
He emphasized that: "The hospital is one of the best future hospitals in the Middle East as signed at the sixth edition of the Middle East exhibition and conference for the construction of hospitals held in the UAE, where Alkafeel Hospital was awarded by a certificate of the top five hospitals in the Middle East. And this hospital will be -God willing- supporting the health sector in Iraq, providing excellent health services for patients without the fatigue and cost of travel because it is providing most of the surgical specialities, very modern medical devices and specialized medical staff."
