The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine opens three main gates..

Within its preparations for the month of Muharram, to create a state of smooth flow for entry and exit of the visitors on this occasion, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine opened on the morning of the 27th Dhu Al-Hijjah 1436 AH corresponding to the 11th October, 2015 three main gates to be added to the gates that have been completed and opened earlier, and these gates are "Gate of Imam Ali [Al-Kaff]", "Gate of Imam Ali Al-Hadi" and "Gate Imam Al-Hussayn" (peace be upon all of them), and which were completed within the important projects taking place in the holy shrine.
The opening ceremony were conducted in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrin and the guests of the First International Al-Kafeel Conference held today. And during the opening, the audience listened to a brief explanation by the Engineer. Dea' Majeed Al-Sa'igh, head of engineering projects department at the holy shrine, the authority supervising the establishment of this project, who explained the most important technical and engineering specifications of these gates.
Engineer. Dea' Majeed Al-Sa'igh, head of engineering projects department at the holy shrine explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "Today, we have opened three main gates of the nine gates of the holy shrine, which were designed to embrace interior gates of the holy shrine, and with areas multiplying the old spaces to accomodate a greater number of visitors and Hussayni processions entering the holy shrine. these gates were designed and implemented by land of Jerusalem [Ard Al-Quds] Company for Construction and under the supervision of our department. and because the execution of these gates needed a high operational accuracy due to the presence of fine artistic parts such as the Muqarnas, it needed a greater time commensurate of the works."
Adding: "The gates are very magnificent artistic pieces, that are beautiful, consistent and harmonious with the existing patterns and colors of the holy shrine. They were also provided by systems of lighting, sound, fire, alarm and cameras linked to the central system at the holy shrine, the sides of each gate were provided by ablution places. Noting that they were executed using the finest world-class materials, as well as the streaky Kashi Karbalai, and in each gate, was written quranic verses according to the design of the most skilled calligraphers, in addition to the technical and engineering features..."
It is to note that the General Secretary of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has given great attention to this project, as these gates form with other external parts of the Quranic engravings, the arches and other finishing works of this project a very beautiful piece of art in design and implementation, combining the fragrance of the past embodied in the architectural design of the holy shrine and the latest architectural materials of high quality, as the designers have excelled in this project with the creativity of implementation, which is in line with it.
