The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine witnesses the funeral rites of the media figure Haidar Al-Salami

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine witnessed the funeral ceremonies of the late media figure Mr. Haidar Al-Salami, the former head of the Media Department at the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine, who passed away after a battle with a terminal illness.

The funeral ceremonies were held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), attended by a number of staff from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, along with a group of journalists, media personnel, and those interested in cultural and media affairs.

Al-Salami, born in 1967 in Babylon, is considered one of the prominent media and literary figures. He dedicated his life to serving religion and thought, adhering to the ethics of the profession and the art of words. His voice was always present at the events organised by the two holy shrines, expressing his love for Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
