Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine proceeded the application of its security and service plan for Ashura of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)..

Once the month of sorrows, the sacred month of Muharram started, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine preceded the application of its security and service plan for this sad occasion. The plan was implemented since the first night, in which the rituals of replacing the flag of the holy dome of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was held with huge attendance.
A part of the security and service plan is applied in conjunction with the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the security and service departments of the province, and the other part -the bigger one- is all implemented by the holy shrine and the participating departments in this plan that will be implemented in stages according to the requirements and the visitors' intensity, and its begin ascendingly all the way to the tenth day of Muharram, and the closing with the run of Tweyrij and what follows of condolences activities.
The Department of Hussayni processions and rituals in Iraq and in the world, has also prepared a special schedule of entry and exit of condolences procession, through which their movement will be determined, as well as supervising the smooth flow of the movement of every procession starting from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine until arriving to the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine. And all these actions will be carried out by the staff of this department with the participation of other departments of the holy shrine.
The Host Department has also made all preparations for receiving the visitors and those coming to perform the Ziyarat of the two holy shrines. Same with the vehicles' Department, service affairs Department, Department of care of the shrine which went on alert in preparation of this Ziyarat, as well as the rest of the departments that will be ready to participate in any parts of the plan as required, along with the maintenance of order department, which has the responsibility of the application of the security plan in cooperation with the security authorities at the Imam Al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and the Police Directorate of Karbala.
All the Departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have shown their full readiness in order to have the best results on this Ziyarat, and to make every effort for its sake to achieve a smooth flow of the movement of visitors or the movements of the condolences processions of Ashura.
