The area between the two holy shrines was covered by more than ten thousand square meters of red carpet in preparation for the mourning ritual "run [Rakdat] of twayreej"..

The department of care and protection of the area between the two holy shrines has covered the middle yard between the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) by more than ten thousand square meters of red carpet, and same area of nylon that was put beneath it as the yard is coated with marble, which hinders the movement of the millions mourners participating in the mourning ritual "run [Rakdat] of twayreej"..
And like all the departments of the two holy shrine, the mentioned department has mobilized all the energies for several days to receive the visitors, mourners and Hussayni processions, whose numbers are increasing up to the peak of the Ziyarat tomorrow, that includes the run of millions of mourners towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him in a ritual called Rakdat Twayreej. And for this purpose all the staff of the department are in full alert, supplied by a group of volunteers in order to help in the great department's works.
The service works of the department included, the cleaning, organizing the traffic and movement of the condolences processions, and guiding the visitors as well as helping the visitors who are not feeling well and transfer them to the health detachment, and maintaining of all electrical appliances in visitors' camps between the two shrines, such as lighting, fans and fountains of water, in addition to a number of other works, including the deployment of black condolences banners...
Also, the security and safety works as part of the security plan developed in the two holy shrines, as the division of maintenance of order has assumed many duties as it is one of the most important security hoops surrounding the holy shrines, by inspecting the entrants to the area between the two holy shrine, which were divided into several parts to facilitate the patrols to follow the movement of visitors and notice any suspicious activity.
It is to mention that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine with all its departments, including this department, which work jointly with the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), has announced the completion of the necessary preparations to receive visitors of the holy shrine on the Ziyarat of Ashura.
