The people of Karbala commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Ma'soomah (peace be upon her) in the city of Kadhemiyah

The procession of the people of holy Karbala, in cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Masooma (peace be upon her) at the shrine of her father, Imam Musa al-Kadhem (peace be upon him), in the holy city of Kadhemiyah.

The field assistant to the head of the Department of Rituals, Processions, and Hussainiyat, Mr. Qasim Muhammad Masrahd, stated that "the department provided all the logistical needs for the procession, allocating 63 buses, while the General Secretariat of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine contributed by providing 24 vehicles of various capacities to ensure the transportation of the procession from Karbala to the Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine in coordination with its General Secretariat."

He added that "the processions of the people of Karbala gathered today with their various groups and forms, in addition to the honourable servants of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, within a unified mourning procession where the participants were divided into 13 mourning groups, chanting hymns and lamentations, while the Hussaini Radood Hussein Al-Zughayr ascended the pulpit of the holy shrine."

For his part, one of the procession's servants, Mr. Raed Al-Hakim, stated that the procession offered condolences and sympathy to Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) on the martyrdom anniversary of his daughter, Lady Fatima Al-Ma'sumah (peace be upon her), after traversing the streets of the holy city of Kadhemiyah, chanting its mourning slogans.

The procession of the people of Karbala continues, in cooperation with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, to commemorate the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), as an expression of loyalty to them and in remembrance of their noble stances.
