With sad elegies and hearts filled with sorrow and grief for this great tragedy, the condolences procession of the servants of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both oft hem) was launched on the afternoon of Saturday the 17th Muharram 1437 AH corresponding to the 31st October 2015, led by a number of officials and heads of the departments in addition to the crowds of visitors who came to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate this sad occasion, which is a tradition that the followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) used to do every year to commemorate the seventh day of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussayn, his family and companions(peace be upon them).
The procession was launched from the holy shrine of the standard bearer of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him); the moon of bani Hashem Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) heading towards the shrine of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) to present the condolences for this tragic event, holding candles to remind that on the seventh day of his martyrdom, nobody was there for lighting candles on the holy grave of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). Within the procession many poems and condolences words to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) were delivered, expressing the loyalty and love of the servants of the two holy shrines to Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to stick to the approach drawn by Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) by his pure blood, which is an extension of the approach of his grandfather the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household), then a mourning Majlis was held.
It is to mention that as part of the commemoration of the sad days and eves of Ashura, the lovers and followers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) from inside and outside Karbala were used to commemorate the seventh day of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to spread the feelings of sadness and grief, as certainly the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) is a continuous kindled fire in the hearts of the believers until eternity, which will never extinguish, until his revenge will be taken by Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
