The grid manufacturing department completes the installation of the door facing the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)

The Department of Manufacturing Holy Shrine Grids and Doors at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has completed the installation of the Qibla Gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) after finishing its maintenance stages.

The head of the department, Mr. Nadhem Al-Gharabi, said: "The department's staff have completed the maintenance and installation of the Qibla gate of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which is one of the main and important doors of the holy shrine. This work is part of the department's plan to maintain the strength and aesthetics of the doors."

He added that "the door features precise artistic characteristics and dimensions, with a height of 369 cm and a width of 300 cm, while its thickness reaches 11 cm. Additionally, the frame surrounding the door is considered an artistic piece with dimensions of 450 cm in length and 325 cm in width."

These works are part of the efforts of the grid manufacturing department in restoring and preserving the doors' appearance with their traditional and historical character, thereby enhancing their historical value.
