The Secretary-General of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Sayed. Ahmed Al-Safi has visited the Specialist Al-Kafeel Hospital, which was recently opened, to follow-up the administrative and medical work and to see the conditions of the patients, and the services provided to them. He was accompanied in this visit by the hospital director, Dr. Haydar Al-Bahadli.
During this visit, he has checked on some visit who have been operated under the supervision of experienced surgeons brought by the hospital management from outside Iraq, according to the system in place and the followed mechanism in order to conduct operations and the continuity of work.
At the end of the visit, Sayed. Ahmed Al-Safi urged all workers in this humanitarian facility, which name is linked to one of the Islamic humanitarian leaders; Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to make every effort, to provide the most sincere services to the patients with a large patience with all cases.
The patients, in turn, have thanked the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for its services and for establishing this medical institution asserting that they don't need travelling abroad for their treatment.
It is to mention that the hospital is established on an estimated area of 5000m2 of 6 floors, consisting of 200 beds according to the speciality section. It also includes 12 operation rooms, emergency halls, consulting offices and external offices. The aim of the establishment of this project is to support the health sector in Iraq in general and in the province of Karbala in particular, and to complement the previous health projects and to help the local governement which is implementng currently many health projects, as a contribution of the holy shrines of the holy city of Karbala in covering the shortage in the health field.
