The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the activities of the second day of the Fourth International Scientific Conference of Dar Al-Rasool Al-A'dham (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).
The conference is organised by the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, in collaboration with the College of Basic Education for Girls at Al-Ameed University, under the title (The Blessed Prophetic Biography between Quranic Constants and Scientific Curriculum Variables), and its activities will last for two days.
The events were attended by Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah, a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as well as academic and religious figures from inside and outside Iraq.
The activities of the second day included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Laith Al-Abbadi, the singing of the Iraqi national anthem and the anthem of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine (the Melody of Pride), in addition to a speech by the President of Al-Ameed University, Dr. Jawdat Al-Jashami, and the holding of four research sessions that included the discussion of scientific papers presented by researchers from various Arab and Islamic countries, along with a closing session that included scientific studies, the closing statement, and recommendations.
The conference on the first day featured a promotional film about the conference and its activities, as well as three research sessions attended by nineteen researchers from inside and outside Iraq, who discussed several scientific papers, in addition to honouring the participants in the conference activities.
The conference aims to shed light on the noble biography of the Prophet, as a comprehensive human and scientific methodology, and to highlight it in light of Quranic constants and contemporary intellectual transformations in research methodologies.
