People from Basra and those who joined them from the neighboring countries continue their march toward Karbala..

Hundreds of thousands of people of the province of Basra and those who have joined them from some Gulf countries and Iran continue their march towards the Qibla of the free people to perform the rituals of the Ziyarat Arba'een and in spite of the harshness of the weather and climate fluctuations, they have showed their determination to continue the march in the largest demonstration of faith taking place in the world every year, rushing their steps from all regions and villages of this province to the holy city of Karbala covered by the blessings of The Most Merciful, to perform the rituals and to recall the sufferings of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
This timeless march, which began seven days ago, is accompanied by security and service challenge by the security and service departments int he province and the owners of the Hussayni procession to provide all the services and a variety of free food in addition to the accomodation and other services.
It is expected that the holy city of Karbala will receive in the period between the tenth to the twentieth of Safar millions of visitors of the shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) from inside and outside of Iraq.
