The two holy shrines commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)..

The two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both fo them) have commemorated the martyrdom of the poisoned Imam Al-Hassan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), that tragedy that has shook the Islamic nation, and which heat is still burning in the hearts of believers up to this day.
The rituals of the commemoration of this great sad occasion has started since days by the establishment of a number of funeral Majlis in the two holy shrines, with the participation of a number of Hussayni khatib and rawadeed.
In this day Friday 7th Safar 1437 AH. corresponding to the 20th November, 2015, corresponding to the martyrdom day of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) in the 50 AH. In the afternoon, a condolence procession of the servants of two holy shrines for the commemoration of this sad occasion, was launched from the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine towards the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to present the condolences for the martyrdom of his elder brother Imam AL-Hassan (peace be upon him), welcomed by the servant of his holy shrine and an unified funeral Majlis was held inside the holy shrine of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The two holy shrines were covered with black and condolences banners were hanged for this great loss, and a number of the Hussayni processions have commemorated this occasion as the mourners procession (latm and zanjeer) came to the two holy shrines since early morning until Isha prayer.
