The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches the activities of the research session dedicated to Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her)

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the activities of the research session dedicated to Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) as part of the eleventh edition of the International Al-Joud Poetry Competition.

The session will be held in the Imam Al-Hasan (peace be upon him) hall within the holy shrine, under the slogan "Umm Al-Baneen (peace be upon her) - A Story of Selflessness." It is organised by the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the holy shrine, in cooperation with Al-Kafeel University.

The session's activities were attended by several members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, department heads, religious, academic, and literary figures, in addition to the participating researchers.

The events began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Mohammad Reda Al-Zubaidi, followed by a speech from the organising committee of the competition delivered by Dr. Sheikh Hussam Al-Obeidi.

The session was chaired by Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Safi, and it included the discussion of two research papers about Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her). The first was titled "Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) - Complete Faith and Loyalty" by researcher Sheikh Kadhem Al-Bahadli, and the second was titled "Analytical Study of the Narration of Umm Ja'far Al-Kalabiya in the Book of Tarteeb Al-Amali Al-Khamisiyya" by Mr. Ammar Aal Yousha.

The events conclude with the honouring of participants, researchers, and contributors in the special research session dedicated to Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) as part of the eleventh edition of the Global Al-Joud Poetry Competition.
