By holding a mourning council... Al-Kafeel University commemorates the death anniversary of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her)

Al-Kafeel University held its annual mourning council to commemorate the death anniversary of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her).

The council was organised in the presence of the deans of the colleges, university professors, and staff, in a sombre atmosphere filled with faith.

The council was inaugurated with a blessed recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, by the reciter Sheikh Mahdi Qalander from the Quranic Institute in Najaf Ashraf, affiliated with the Scientific Quranic Complex at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine. This was followed by a religious lecture delivered by Sheikh Hafedh Al-Dujaili, in which he reviewed the noble biography of Lady Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her), the lessons of sacrifice, patience, and loyalty inspired by her, and her stances and virtues.

Al-Kafeel University is keen on commemorating the occasions of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to spread their knowledge and virtues and to follow their blessed path.
