The Public Relations Department discusses its final preparations for holding the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students

The Public Relations Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a meeting to review the final preparations for the central graduation ceremony for Iraqi university students (the sixth batch on the guidance of the moon).

The ceremony is organised by the University and School Relations Division of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine, on the 11th of December this year, and will last for two days, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project, under the slogan "From the Rain of Karbala, Generosity Grows," with the participation of more than 5,000 students from 75 public and private universities from various provinces of Iraq.

One of the department's staff, Mr. Alaa Jassim Al-Amiri, said: "The meeting was attended by the department head, Mr. Muhammad Ali Azhar, where tasks were distributed among the division's staff to ensure the smooth flow of work and to address all the requirements of the ceremony."

He added that "the ceremony represents a cultural message expressing the national unity of Iraqi students, presented by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to the whole world through this annual academic event."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine aims to hold this celebration to honour the graduates and present a distinguished model of graduation ceremonies that befits students from all universities in the provinces of Iraq, crowning and concluding their academic journey at the holy shrines.
