Al-Kafeel Apiaries participate in the Egyptian Honey Festival and the Arab Beekeepers Union Conference in the Arab Republic of Egypt

A delegation from the Kafeel Beekeeping Division, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, participated in the eighth edition of the Egyptian Honey Festival and the fifteenth session of the Arab Beekeepers Union Conference, which was held in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The head of the department, Mr. Hassanein Mohammed, said: "The delegation participated in the Egyptian Honey Exhibition and Festival, where they were introduced to the latest experiments and expertise in honey production. They also submitted a sample of Sidr honey for scientific and laboratory testing according to international standards. The test results confirmed that Al-Kafeel apiaries' honey was among the distinguished and advanced samples due to its quality and purity."

He added that "the delegation visited one of the honey packaging, wrapping, and exporting factories in the city of Tanta to observe the production lines and advanced machines, as part of efforts to learn about the latest industry technologies."

He pointed out that "the participation of Al-Kafeel Apiaries in the beekeepers' conference held in Sharm El-Sheikh included presenting a specialised scientific research titled: (Identifying Types of Honey through Microscopic Pollen), which received the attention of the conference committee and was officially accepted for publication in the University of Cairo Journal of Agricultural Sciences." He noted that "the delegation also participated in an advanced workshop on extracting bee venom, its therapeutic properties, and uses, in addition to being present at the honey tasting platform in front of the audience and experts, where Al-Kafeel honey impressed the visitors and was described as a refined product with a distinctive mark."

Hossain continued, "The events witnessed the participation of a select group of Arab honey-producing countries, along with scientific and industrial delegations from China and Europe, in addition to the attendance of the President of the International Apimondia Honey Organisation and the President of the ALC Organisation."

He confirmed that "the participation of Al-Kafeel apiaries aims to enhance their status at the Arab and international levels, scientifically and productively, and to open up to modern research and commercial experiences to develop the beekeeping sector and its products and enhance their competitiveness in global markets."
