In Pakistan.. The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds an introductory session about its festival celebrating the birth of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her)

The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held an introductory session about the (Fatima -peace be upon her- Path of Salvation) festival, in its third edition in Pakistan, which is held to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The delegation included the Director of the Office of the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine, Mr. Jawad Al-Hasnawi, the Head of the Religious Affairs Department, Sheikh Salah Al-Karbalaei, the Deputy Head of the Gifts and Vows Reception Department, Mr. Muhammad Gelokhan, the Quran Reciter, Mr. Haidar Gelokhan, along with its representative in Pakistan, Sheikh Naser Abbas Najafi.

Sheikh Salah Al-Karbalaei said: "The holy shrine delegation visited the Fatimiyah area in Pakistan and held the Maghrib and Isha prayers in congregation at the Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) mosque, attended by a gathering of the local residents."

He added that "the visit included an introductory session on the (Fatima -peace be upon her- Path of Salvation) festival, in its third edition, which is held in the (Angoli) region in celebration of the anniversary of the birth of the great lady (peace be upon her), and includes a series of events, including: graduation ceremonies and religious obligations for girls, as well as cultural, literary, and social forums and programs."

Al-Karbalaei continued, "This visit came to express gratitude and appreciation to those responsible for the mosque, which hosted more than one event as part of the festival last year, in addition to inviting the locals to participate in this edition."

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine seeks, through organising the festival, to celebrate Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and to instill her values and principles among various Islamic communities.
