The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the activities of the second national scientific forum for youth elites.

The forum is held under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, organised by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Centre affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine, in cooperation with the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Society, under the title (Intellectual Security in the Advice of His Eminence Sayed Al-Sistani for the Believers in the Era of the Occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi – May Allah Hasten His Holy Reappearance).

The events were attended by the Senior Official of the holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, several of its officials, along with a number of academics and a group of young elites.

The first day's activities of the forum began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs, followed by the national anthem and the anthem "Melody of Pride," then a speech by the Senior Official of the holy shrine, in addition to a scholarly reading of Sayed al-Sistani's advice to believers in the Age of Occultation, presented by Sayed Munir Al-Khabar, and then the start of the research session.

The second day of the forum at Al-Ameed University will include a speech by the Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department; Sayed Aqeel Al-Yasiri, a knowledge session presented by Mr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Amidi, the announcement of the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Centre initiative presented by Mr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Mawla, and the honouring of the winners of the Grand Knowledge Competition for university students.

The forum aims to conduct a systematic scientific reading of the advice of Sayed al-Sistani related to intellectual security, analyse the most prominent intellectual threats facing the youth in the era of the Greater Occultation, and formulate practical mechanisms to safeguard intellectual security in light of the vision of the supreme religious authority in Najaf al-Ashraf. Additionally, it seeks to enhance research interaction between academics and youth on issues of belonging, awareness, and intellectual confrontation, and to produce research and practical outputs that enrich the intellectual arena in line with contemporary societal needs.
