The second day of the National Scientific Forum for Youth Elites at Al-Ameed University

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launched the second day of the second national scientific forum for youth elites at Al-Ameed University.

The forum is held under the patronage of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and organised by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Centre, which is affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the shrine, in collaboration with the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Society, under the title (Intellectual Security in the Advice of His Eminence Sayed Al-Sistani for the Believers in the Era of the Occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi – May Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

The events were attended by several officials from the holy shrine, along with a group of academics and young elites.

The activities of the second day of the forum include a speech by the Head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department; Sayed Aqeel Al-Yasiri, a knowledge session presented by Mr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Amidi, the announcement of the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Centre initiative presented by Mr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Mawla, and then the honouring of the winners of the Grand Knowledge Competition for university students.

The forum aims to conduct a systematic scientific reading of the recommendations of the supreme religious authority related to the intellectual security of the youth, analyse the most prominent intellectual challenges they face in the era of the Greater Occultation, and formulate practical mechanisms for intellectual and cultural confrontation.
