The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine concluded the activities of the second national scientific forum for youth elites.

The forum was held under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, organised by the Al-Qamar Cultural Forum Centre affiliated with the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Holy Shrine, in collaboration with the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Society, under the title (Intellectual Security in the Advice of His Eminence Sayed Al-Sistani for the Believers in the Era of the Occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi – May God hasten his holy reappearance).

The first day's activities included a speech by the Senior Official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, who urged the youth to remain steadfast in the face of cultural openness and to consult experts to help them with life's problems. Additionally, there was a scholarly reading of His Eminence Sayed Al-Sistani's advice to believers in the era of the Occultation of Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), presented by Sayed Munir Al-Khabaz.

The first day's activities also included a research session that discussed two papers. The first paper, titled "The Correlation Between Positive Anticipation and Intellectual Security in Light of the Recommendations of His Eminence Sayed Ali al-Sistani," was presented by Dr. Sattar Jabr al-Araji. The second research paper, titled "A Doctrinal-Educational Vision to Improve Intellectual Security for Youth and Build Awareness in Facing Contemporary Challenges," was presented by Dr. Mohammed Naama al-Shammari. The day's activities concluded with an evening panel discussion on cultural marketing.

As for the second day of the forum, it included an informative session on the connection between faith and science, presented by the Hawza from Najaf, Sayed Muhammad Hussein Al-Ameedi. There was also a speech by the head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department, Sayed Aqeel Al-Yasiri, who called on the aware elite to confront the deviant movements targeting the youth. Additionally, the initiative of the Qamar Cultural Forum Centre was announced by Sayed Muhammad Hussein Al-Mawla. The events concluded with the honouring of the winners of the Grand Knowledge Competition for Iraqi university students.

The forum aims to conduct a systematic scientific reading of the advice from the supreme religious authority related to the intellectual security of the youth, analyse the most prominent intellectual challenges they face in the era of the Greater Occultation, and formulate practical mechanisms for intellectual and cultural confrontation, by enhancing research interaction between academics and the youth.
