Under the auspices of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.. Al-Ameed Association holds a scientific symposium in celebration of International Arabic Language Day

The Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association, under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, held a scientific symposium in celebration of International Arabic Language Day.

The symposium was organized by the Association in collaboration with the Al-Ameed International Center for Research and Studies, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, and the Supreme Authority for the Revival of Heritage at the Holy Shrine.

The symposium was held in the Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) hall within the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan "Our Arabic language is the queen of languages," with the title "The Impact of the Arabic Language on Religious Sciences," and attended by several officials of the holy shrine alongside researchers and specialists.

The seminar activities began with the recitation of fragrant verses from the Holy Quran, the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs and scholars, and the singing of the national anthem and the anthem (Melody of Pride). This was followed by a speech from the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine, delivered by Dr. Sarhan Jafat, and a speech from the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association, delivered by Dr. Ali Al-Mussalawi.

The president of the association, Dr. Riyad Tarek Al-Amaidi, said that the global celebration of Arabic Language Day included discussions of a series of research papers that highlighted the importance of the Arabic language as the primary vessel for religious, intellectual, and cultural awareness, noting that the symposium focused on showcasing the language's status in various religious and intellectual sciences.

He added that the symposium addressed several topics, most notably the importance of language in the sciences of the Quran, Hadith, and the principles of interpretation. It aims to enhance the status of the Arabic language and achieve a balance between its authenticity and renewal, as it is a living language based on continuous development. He confirmed that the symposium witnessed the presentation of several recommendations for the International Day of the Arabic Language.

For his part, Sheik Wisam Fares Al-Khaqani, a member of the Supreme Commission for the Revival of Heritage, said: "The role of the Supreme Commission in the scientific symposium on the Day of the Arabic Language was represented in communicating with researchers and professors and supervising the scientific research that participated in the research session."

The seminar activities included the recitation of poems by poets Ali Al-Saffar and Muhammad Al-Yasiri, followed by a scientific session chaired by Dr. Adel Nadhir. Four diverse research papers were discussed, including "The Language of Quranic Monotheism" by researcher Dr. Abbas Ali Al-Fahham, "Sharia in Light of Arabic Toward Building an Intellectual System and a Study in Scientific and Methodological Relations" by researcher Dr. Saleh Kadhem Al-Jubouri, and "The Impact of Grammatical Thot on Building the Foundations of Jurisprudence: An Analytical Study in Light of Linguistic and Jurisprudential Perspectives" by researcher Dr. Haidar Jabar Aidan. The session concluded with a discussion of the research titled "Linguistic Research and Its Impact on Deriving Legal Rulings" by researcher Dr. Mohannad Mustafa Jamal Al-Din.

At the conclusion of the scientific symposium, Mr. Muhammad Al-Ashigar, a member of the Board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine, and Dr. Riyad Tareq Al-Amidi, the head of the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association, along with Dr. Sarhan Jaffat, honored the researchers and contributors to its activities.
